Linde Material Handling a winner in “Industrial Trucks and Accessories” readers’ poll
Linde Material Handling (MH) has taken first place in the “Industrial Trucks and Accessories” category of the “materialfluss PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2024” competition. The Linde X35 to X50 electric forklift series won over the trade experts and received the most votes. Linde MH achieved another success with its AI-based “Linde Energy Manager” solution, which took second place in the "Logistics and transportation" category. The aim of the award is to highlight innovations in the logistics and intralogistics industry. The presentation ceremony was held in Munich on March 13.
For the fifth time, the trade magazine “materialfluss”, published by WEKA Business Medien, was looking for technically advanced, innovative products and solutions that offer significant customer benefits. Companies were able to submit entries in six categories: “Storage, Racking and Warehouse Equipment”, “Order Picking Systems”, “Packaging and Dispatch”, “Conveyor and Lifting Technology”, “Industrial Trucks and Accessories”, “Logistics and Transportation” and “Project of the Year”. All entries were presented to readers in detail in a special issue, and voting on the web portal was launched at the same time. After about two and a half months, the online vote closed on February 18.
Linde X35 – X50 electric forklifts: high performance, lower emissions
In the “Industrial Trucks and Accessories” category, it was Linde’s X35 to X50 electric forklift trucks with 3.5 to 5.0 tons load capacity that impressed the trade audience most. For the first time, battery-operated counterbalanced trucks can now move loads in demanding outdoor applications with low noise and emissions, while being just as powerful, robust and comfortable as Linde trucks equipped with IC engines. This helps companies with high demands on vehicle performance, such as those found in the paper, wood, beverage and chemical industries, to make their intralogistics more sustainable and climate-neutral.
“We are delighted with the result of the vote and would like to thank all fans of the Linde brand for their participation and their great support. The fact that we came out on top in one category and second in another is a huge honor and makes us extremely proud,” said Dr. Monika Laurent-Junge, Senior Director Marketing & Brand Communications at Linde Material Handling, who accepted the award from laudator Daniel Schilling, Editor-in-chief at “materialfluss”.
