The EG16 – EG20 electric counterbalance forklift trucks are ideally designed for occasional use in light to medium-duty indoor applications. This corresponds to around 500 to 1000 operating hours per year in either single or double-shift operation. Thanks to their compact design and good all-round visibility, they can be safely manoeuvred even in tight spaces. With a load capacity of 1.6 to 2 metric tons and a lifting height of up to 6.5 metres, the electric forklift trucks are ideally suited to occasional loading and unloading of trucks, and storage and retrieval, as well as for short to medium transport distances in production. The twin-motor front-wheel drive ensures high traction and safe load handling. They are fitted with Linde Load Control and dual pedal control, which enables precise control with a high degree of operating comfort. The electric forklift trucks can be fitted with either lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries.

Safety
The electric forklift trucks are fitted with numerous safety features as standard. The chassis, the A-pillar and the mast are designed for optimum all-round visibility of the load and the environment. The truck’s low centre of gravity and high steering axle ensure high lateral stability in any operating scenario. The Linde Curve Assist assistance system automatically reduces the operating speed when cornering. If required, the EG16 – EG20 can also be equipped with an automatic parking brake.

Ergonomics
The spacious operator’s cab with ergonomic seat allows fatigue-free working throughout the whole shift. The user-friendly layout of the control elements and various storage compartments provide additional comfort. The steering wheel can be individually adjusted to the operator and thus promotes good posture. With the sensitive Linde Load Control and dual pedal control, the mast functions and the truck itself can be controlled precisely with only minimal movement. The 3.5-inch multifunction display shows all the essential truck data at a glance.

Handling
Thanks to the twin-motor front-wheel drive, the EG16 – EG20 electric forklift trucks boast a high degree of traction. At the same time, the energy management system optimises energy consumption for lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. With the dual pedal control, the operator can accelerate smoothly and can quickly change the direction of travel. The Linde Load Control integrated into the armrests enables millimetre-precise control of all mast functions. The drive, operating concept and good all-round visibility ensure productive load handling. Thanks to their compact design and the twin-motor front-wheel drive, the EG16 – EG20 are highly manoeuvrable. For particularly confined environments, the EG16 is also available as a three-wheeled forklift.

Servicing
Like all Linde electric forklift trucks, the EG16 – EG20 also boasts a service-friendly design: All the key components are quickly accessible for maintenance and repair. The battery flap, which can be opened to 180°, combined with the lateral battery removal with a roller bearing, allow for efficient battery changing. This ensures that the trucks have a high level of availability. The long service intervals and the maintenance-free three-phase motor reduce operating costs and ensure maximum profitability. The hydraulic oil and filter only need to be replaced after 3,000 operating hours or 3 years.
