Whether it’s an unexpected delivery or a standard job, the Linde Truck Call app means shift supervisors no longer have to give operators instructions face-to-face. They can simply enter the transport job and its priority level into the system using their smartphone or tablet. More specific details about the job can also be added using photos, documents and comments. The app then assigns the job to a specific group of trucks. If an operator accepts the job online, it is no longer visible for the other operators in the group. Once the job has been completed, the shift supervisor immediately receives confirmation from the operator.

Functions of the app
1. Setting up jobs
The shift supervisor enters their job in the app. To do this, they enter the position and storage location of the goods and specify the priority level and time frame for the job.
2. Allocating jobs
Once entered, the job is sent to all operators. If one operator accepts the job, it is no longer visible to the other operators.
3. Open jobs
The app provides the shift supervisor with a list of all open, accepted and completed jobs.
4. Completed jobs
Once a job has been completed, the operator confirms this in the app and confirmation is sent immediately to the shift supervisor.
